7DrumCity

My 14 year old has been taking lessons here for the past 8 months with Laura. Everyone is kind and welcoming. Laura is the best—her enthusiasm for teaching is infectious. When my son’s band was practicing for their school performance, we booked practice rooms a handful of times and it was so much more productive than the kids goofing off at someone’s house. We are huge fans of 7DrumCity and are so happy it exists.

Hands down, the best music school. The moment you walk in the front door you feel the incredible energy and the welcoming community. Our son does a weekly drum lesson with Laura and not only does he love being taught music by her, but also they spend time talking about their lives and events and he loves having another adult whom he looks up to who cares about him. He's also done the music summer camps and they are phenomenal. The shows at the end of each week blew our minds away! The rest of the staff and the founder/executive director are wonderful, responsive, and take the time to remember our son. This is truly a gem.

It’s hard finding a place to play the drums in a city, especially if you live in an apartment. 7drumcity is an awesome solution. You can book any of their rehearsal spaces online. Most rooms have a drum set (and cymbals!) as well as other instruments and they have rooms sized to fit everything between a solo practice or jamming with your entire band. I only wish they were open earlier on weekdays.

7Drum is wonderful! We have been treated with warmth and professionalism. Winston is fantastic! He is a perfect fit for my kid. The 7Drum community, Winston’s encouragement and instruction, and the instrument itself have all been great for her self-esteem. We got her a drum kit, and she practices all the time now. We’re really happy to be part of it all and are so glad we found this place!
