My experience of Pirate Studios thus far has been very positive. The studios themselves are clean, and the equipment is always in good condition. There is also air conditioning, should you need it. The booking process is straightforward, and the entire studio is self-service, meaning that you book your hourly slot on the website, with the capacity of renting a studio space of up to 24 hours, and you can earn points that go towards future discounts.

Good studios for recording DJ sets. The Poineer, PA speakers, certainly pack a punch! The entry system is easy and convenient with no fuss of checking in.

It’s great that you can rent a room with most of the equipment provided.. I play the drums so it’s easy to just take the cymbals & pedal down and get on with it.. Sometimes some of the hardware is a bit damaged or a drum might be missing a lug or have minor damage. Overall it’s fantastic

The Recording suites at Pirate are excellent. Good level of soundproofing, good basic tools (mic, soundcard and monitors) and a great ambience which really helps the creative process. The Air Con is very welcome too!
