Michiko is an oasis for all musicians in New York. Great equipment and people working there are always helpful and kind. Rooms are clean and solid. Would have been 5 stars but wish they would tune pianos more frequently.

Always a great experience at Michiko Studios. From the staff helping out with bookings and equipment to very usable, fairly quiet space with a great vibe, it's a great music oasis in the middle of Manhattan for the rental rates that are very reasonable. For me as a budding jazz pianist, I am able to try out different acoustic pianos and see how to get the best sound from each, and there quite a few to choose from.

my favorite place to practice! super reasonable prices, lovely staff, and great rehearsal spaces. highly recommend!
