Your musical profile
What it is
Your profile is how other musicians see you: when you apply to a jam, when a band checks out an applicant, or when someone taps your photo. It's built from cards you can fill, reorder, and show or hide.
What you can add
Open Profile from the bottom tabs. Your own profile shows every section with edit controls:
- Photo & cover: tap your avatar or Edit cover photo.
- Instruments: everything you play, with one marked Main.
- Currently playing: your genres.
- Open to: what you're looking for (jams, a band, etc.).
- On rotation: songs you have on repeat.
- Gear I use, Inspirations (artists), and an Intro video: a short clip of you playing.
- Availability: tap the hours you're usually free; bands use this when scheduling.
- About me: a short bio.
- My bands, Recent activity, and social links.
A "Complete your profile" meter nudges you toward the essentials: a photo, a main instrument, a bio or headline, and your city.
Who sees what
Each section has its own visibility: Public, Connections, or Only me. Use View as public to preview exactly what strangers see. You can also drag sections into your preferred order with Reorder sections.
Changing name, instruments, or genres
Tap Settings (the gear) → Edit profile & instruments: this reopens the same flow you saw when you first joined, with everything pre-filled. Save with Save changes.
