Invite people to your band

What it is

Three ways to bring people in, and in every case the other person decides. Invites are always Accept / Decline; nobody gets added to a band without saying yes (the only exception: people you add yourself during band creation from your "played with before" list).

Invite by email

1. On your band page, open ⋯ → Invite people (or add emails while creating the band).
2. Type an address and tap Add.

• If they're already on TuneUp, they get a notification: "[you] invited you to join [band]", plus an email.
• If they're not on TuneUp yet, they get an email with a join link (and the invite even unlocks their beta access).

Share link & QR code

The invite sheet shows a QR code and a copyable link. Anyone with the link lands on a join page; if they're new, they sign up first and the invite carries through onboarding. There's also a raw 6-character code they can type at Play with → the join page, or during onboarding's "join a band" step.

What invitees see

Invited players find the band under Invited to on their Play with page (and get a popup if they follow the invite link), with Accept and Decline buttons, or Decide later, which keeps the invite pending.

Tips

• Pending email invites are listed in Manage members, where admins can resend or cancel them.
• Guests can also join a single session from a session share link without joining the band at all: see Guests and share links.
