Public vs private bands

The two settings

Every band is either:

• Private: invite only. You add the players; the band doesn't appear anywhere public.
• Open: discoverable. The band appears on the Search map, and players can ask to join your open positions.

Admins switch by tapping the visibility chip (lock/globe) on the band page hero. Making a band open places it on the map at its city.

What an open band shows publicly

Cover and logo, name, genres, city and map pin, member avatars and instruments, open positions, the band's usual availability, songs/setlist, inspiration, photos, links, and notes. Admins can hide individual sections: when the band is public, each band-page section shows a small public/private badge (visible to admins) so you always know what's exposed.

What's never public: your chat, session details, files, and anything you've hidden.
