Finding your way around
The main tabs
On your phone, TuneUp has five tabs along the bottom:
- Home: your dashboard.
- Play with: your bands, invites, applications, and open sessions.
- Search: the map: find bands, sessions, and rehearsal rooms near you.
- Practice: your song library and playlists.
- Profile: your musical profile.
On desktop the same items live in a left sidebar, plus a Notifications entry with an unread badge. The tabs appear on top-level screens; inside a band or session you'll navigate with back arrows instead.
The dashboard
Your home screen shows:
- Quick actions: Find a jam, Start a band, Practice, Musical profile, Sessions.
- Your bands: cards with your bandmates and each band's next rehearsal.
- Next up: your soonest upcoming session.
- Practice streak: daily practice dots for the week and your goal progress.
- Stats & Achievements: songs played, hours played, sessions, and your badge collection.
- Jams for you: open jams that match your instruments.
- The bell for notifications, top of the screen.
A short guided tour points these out on your first visit.
The floating help button
The round ? button floats on every screen. Tap it for Documentation, Send feedback, or Support chat. You can drag it anywhere (it snaps to the nearest edge), and hide it entirely from Settings. More in Getting help.
