Import playlists from Spotify
What it is
Connect your Spotify account once and import any of your playlists (including Liked Songs) into TuneUp. Every imported song goes through the usual chord preparation, so your Spotify library becomes practicable.
Steps
- In the import screen (from playlists), pick the Spotify chip. (Apple Music is coming soon: its chip is there but not active yet.)
- Tap Connect Spotify and approve the read-only access. TuneUp can see your playlists; it can never change anything in your Spotify account.
- Pick a playlist: you'll see its tracks, with songs already in your library dimmed as "In library."
- Select all or tap individual tracks, then hit Import.
The songs land in your library and start preparing chords in the background. Watch for the "chords ready" notifications.
Tips
- You can disconnect Spotify any time from the same screen.
- Only playlists on your own account are listed. Importing someone else's shared playlist link isn't supported yet.
