Sheet music: TuneUp Score

What it is

Songs can carry engraved sheet music that plays along with the recording. Open it from ⋯ → Sheet music on any song.

Adding a score

If the song has no score yet, the sheet music screen lets you find or upload one. Supported: MusicXML (including MuseScore files), PDF, and photos of printed scores. Photographed/PDF scores are converted so they can follow the music. Some songs offer public-domain scores automatically; where paid engravings are suggested, they're clearly linked to the retailer (see the affiliate disclosure: you never pay extra).

Reading

The score view follows the song as it plays, and includes annotation tools (pen, text, shapes) and a stand mode for putting your tablet on a music stand.

Is it free?

Sheet music will be part of TuneUp's paid tier at launch, but during the beta it's open to everyone.
