Search: the map

What it is

The Search tab is a live map of your music scene. Pan anywhere and it rescans the area. Three scopes along the top:

• Bands: public bands with open positions.
• Sessions: open jams and sessions with spots to fill.
• Rooms: rehearsal rooms and studios you can book.

Using it

• Tap any pin or card: details open in a sheet over the map, so you never lose your place. From the sheet you can apply to a band, join a jam, or book a room.
• Filters: genre, date and time (for sessions), favorites only, "mine", and a my-instruments mode that shows only bands/sessions needing something you play.
• Cards wear little status pills so you can see your relationship at a glance: You're in, Pending, Yours, Upcoming / Previously booked for rooms, and each room's starting price.

Creating from the map

Nothing nearby? The map offers a create button for the current scope: Create a band or Create a session (which asks: jam or band rehearsal?).

Booking a room plans a session

When you book (or pick) a room from Search, TuneUp plans a session at that room for your band automatically; if you're in several bands it asks which one. The session starts in planning status so you can finish the details later.
