The session page
What it is
Each session has its own page with a cover hero (title, date, countdown, who's coming) and four tabs: Overview, Setlist, Notes, Assets, plus the Go Live button.
Overview
- When & where: a map (tap for directions via Waze / Apple Maps / Google Maps), room photos, date, and, for room bookings, the price with a per-player split, who paid, booked gear, and your check-in QR pass.
- Players: who's expected, on what instrument. Tap yourself to answer "What will you play?" (assigning an instrument also adds your vote). Admins can Manage the list, and on open sessions post open spots for stand-ins.
Setlist
The setlist is collaborative: any member can add, remove, and drag-reorder songs. Songs collect votes, and tapping one opens it for practice. Sing-along viewers see the setlist read-only.
Notes & Assets
Shared notes and files for this session. Unread dots tell you when something new landed. Files can be shared onward to the whole band: see Files and band assets.
Open vs private sessions
The visibility chip on the hero (admins can change it):
- Private: invite only.
- Open: the session is listed publicly so players can apply to fill open spots.
Leaving, editing, deleting
- Leave session (in the session menu): opts you out of this one session. It never removes you from the band, and if you held a jam slot, your spot opens up again.
- The creator or a band admin gets Session options (⋯): Rehearsal settings and Delete session (deleting removes the session, its setlist, and votes for everyone).
After the rehearsal
About a day after the scheduled time the session locks into a recap: "This rehearsal is done: view only." The setlist stays browsable and songs still open for practice. If it was at a booked room, TuneUp may ask you to rate the room next time you open the app.
